Funderdrome

Funderdrome is a 16-player multiplayer online car combat game where one person drives and one person shoots per vehicle. There are currently 4 game modes – FFA, Team deathmatch, Base Attack/ Defense and a Payload Escort map. Created in Unreal Engine 4.



In Funderdrome, I led the charge and created the design, the vision of the game. I created the original prototype on my own, and showed it to some peers. I then kept building upon it, starting while I was a student at the post graduate program at George Brown College. After graduation, I kept working on it with programmers and intern artists to develop the game to the state it is in today – a fully functional, playable multiplayer game. I utilized my programming skills to teach myself Unreal Engine 4, as well as networking, setting up menus, UI, gameplay and creating most aspects of the game.
